These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded via our platform for booking passenger transport services – regardless of whether the booking is made with or without a user account.
The following types of rides can be booked via our website:
– Airport transfers (pickup or drop-off at the airport)
– Regular taxi rides
– Chauffeur-driven car rentals (hourly with mileage packages)
– Courier services
– Excursions and sightseeing tours
In addition, users may create or respond to listings in the Job Center.
Users may voluntarily create a customer account. During registration, first name, last name, phone number and email address are stored. After login, these fields are automatically pre-filled when making a booking. Optionally, a home address and a work address may be saved for faster booking selection.
A contract for a ride is concluded once a booking has been successfully completed via the system and confirmed by us.
Cancellations must be made in writing (e.g. by email). Verbal cancellations are only valid if confirmed by us in writing.
The decisive factor for the timeliness of a cancellation is the time it is received by us.
Cancellations up to 12 hours before the agreed pickup time are free of charge.
In the case of later cancellations or if the passenger does not appear at the agreed pickup location, the full fare will be charged.
Any costs already incurred (e.g. reserved vehicles or special services) may be charged regardless of the time of cancellation.
The customer expressly retains the right to prove that no damage or significantly less damage was incurred.
We reserve the right to withdraw from the contract if the customer suspends payment, insolvency proceedings are initiated, or there are concrete indications that our services are being misused.
For airport pickups, a waiting time of up to 30 minutes after the actual landing of the flight is included in the fare.
From the 31st minute onwards, each additional quarter of an hour will be charged at €10.
For pickups at other locations, a waiting time of 10 minutes is included; thereafter, €10 will be charged for each additional quarter of an hour.
For pickups between 22:00 and 04:00, a flat-rate night surcharge of €7 per ride will be applied.
This surcharge is applied in addition to the regular fare, regardless of the distance traveled.
Customers can send messages to the administrator via the system. Drivers can send messages to the company they are assigned to.
Both companies and private individuals can place listings in the Job Center. The following data is stored and published: city, title, requirements, description, and date of publication.
Users are obliged to provide truthful information and to comply with applicable laws. Misuse or false information will result in suspension of access.
Data processing is carried out in accordance with our privacy policy. Only administrators and dispatchers have access to personal customer data. Companies can only see the data of their own drivers.
We are only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty.
Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the provider, provided that the customer is a merchant.
The invoice for the completed ride is issued solely by the performing driver or the contracted transport company.
For rides carried out directly by Taxiloyal, Taxiloyal (Goran Lazarevic, as listed in the legal notice) acts as the taxi company, providing the transport service and being responsible for proper execution and invoicing.
Depending on the performing service provider, the invoice may either show VAT or, under the small business exemption pursuant to Section § 6 Abs 1 Z27 of the Austrian VAT Act (UStG), be issued without VAT.
Taxiloyal operates the platform both for its own rides and for the referral of rides to independent partner companies or drivers.
For referred rides, the transport contract is concluded exclusively between the customer and the performing partner company or driver. Each entrepreneur is independently responsible and obliged to comply with all legal requirements – in particular licensing, trade law and required taxi driver authorizations.
Mediation is completely free of charge. No additional fees arise for customers or entrepreneurs through Taxiloyal.
Taxiloyal also represents a working group of independent entrepreneurs who have joined forces to provide customers with a better and more reliable service. Each entrepreneur remains independently responsible for their rides, licenses and invoicing.
Taxiloyal, as well as all activated companies and drivers, act to the best of their knowledge and belief in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Austria. Changes in legal provisions will be observed, and these Terms of Service will be adapted accordingly to always meet the legal requirements.
